Everything dated on this page was checked in September 2026 against the body that sets it, not against another travel site:
- Los Glaciares entry fees — Argentina’s Administración de Parques Nacionales (APN), through its own ticket portal at ventaweb.apn.gob.ar. The ARS 50,000 general daily rate has been in force since 1 June 2026 and is fixed by administrative resolution, so it can change without notice.
- Distance, walkway layout and time on the balconies — the published operating itineraries of the operators running the route, cross-checked against the park’s own access maps. Where operators disagree we print the range rather than one company’s figure.
Park entry is never included in the price of a tour — the ticket is bought separately from the park authority, and the operator cannot bundle it. If a figure here disagrees with APN’s own page, the authority is right and we are wrong: tell us and we will correct it and move the reviewed date.
FAQ
Perito Moreno or Torres del Paine?
Perito Moreno is the easier, no-border day trip from El Calafate. Torres del Paine is the bigger “wow” but a long cross-border day. Many visitors do both — Perito Moreno one day, TdP the next.
